Note: The church office is open Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
The season of Easter, or Eastertide, is a time of embracing the promise and hope of Resurrection. It is a time of leaning into the stories that matter. Come and gather around the stories of those who wrestled with the Easter event and some of the words of preparation that Jesus gave to help us live the reality of eternity now. It is clear from these stories that Jesus wanted to equip us to thrive in a season of Easter promise. This season, we hope you’ll engage in stories that matter.
Please join us for worship April 26 at 11 a.m. as we look at the story of the Good Shepherd, found in John 10:1-10, which can be read at the link below.
Our new Sunday school class has a curious name: "Embracing an Adverbial Faith." The adverbs in question come from the United Methodist vision statement, which calls us to love boldly, serve joyfully, and lead courageously.
Our next class meets April 26, 9:30-10:30 a.m., with a lesson about loving boldly. The scriptures for the lesson, which are also used for children's church, are Mark 12:28-34, Leviticus 19:9-18, and John 13:34-35 and can be read at the link below. Thanks to Kay Alexander and Shelly Castellow for teaching children's church April 26.
