Oaklette and Salem United Methodist Churches have joined for a Lenten study of Will Willimon's The Last Supper: Conversations That Led to the Cross. Six folks from the study -- three from each church -- met at IHOP for dinner before class on March 3, which was National Pancake Day. The study continues through March 31, with meetings alternating between churches and on Zoom.

Please join us for worship March 8, the Third Sunday of Lent.

The Lenten journey may seem overly familiar. Yet, the Lenten journey and our discipleship path encourage us to grow, to go deeper, to climb higher, to reach further than we may have before. Lent is a time of introspection, but also a call to action as we seek to be the pilgrim people of God, seeking God’s kingdom and shaping God’s kin-dom in worship and in service. This Lent, we invite you to experience the renewal that comes from God’s never-ending mercy and then to walk with our Lord on a journey to new life.
